Short on time in St. Petersburg? This combo tour lets you experience two of the city’s most celebrated suburban estates in a single day — the fountain-filled gardens of Peterhof and the opulent Catherine Palace, home to the legendary Amber Room.

Itinerary

• Meet your guide at your hotel reception at the agreed pick-up time.
• Drive about an hour to Peterhof, where you’ll explore the spectacular gardens renowned for their many fountains. You’ll also see the exterior of the Grand Peterhof Palace, the Bath House and Monplaisir Palace, and take in views across the Gulf of Finland.
• Continue to Tsar’s Village to visit Catherine Palace, commissioned in the 18th century by Empress Elizabeth and named in honour of her mother, Catherine.
• Tour the palace’s gilded, mirror-lined halls and the world-famous Amber Room.
• Return to St. Petersburg, roughly an hour’s drive.
